Martin Inderbitzen

Martin Inderbitzen brings extensive legal and development expertise in land use. In general civil litigation practice since 1976, Martin's primary focus for the last 20 years has been real estate transactions, land use entitlement and zoning work. As managing partner of the law firm he co-founded in the late 1980s, Martin built the firm to over 28 lawyer professionals and offices in San Jose and Pleasanton. He successfully authored a Specific Plan application for the Dublin Ranch project in 1985, managing the project design team of engineers, architects, land planners, geologists and other professionals through approval in 1993. He subsequently defended court challenges to the Plan, as well as led a successful campaign to defeat a referendum challenge to the project.

Martin has also been responsible for securing and complying with the permits for the construction of the Dublin Ranch project from the State Water Quality Control Board, California Department of Fish and Game, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Agency. He has been the person primarily responsible for all transactional documents on the project, including: Development Agreements with the City, Improvement Agreements, Sales Agreements, etc.

Other projects Martin is currently involved with include: construction of a middle school and an elementary school for the Dublin Unified School District; a 126-unit single family detached residential project in Hayward, California, a 36-acre commercial project in Livermore, California and a 51-unit custom lot residential project in Pleasanton, California.
